Gary Chan and the team are an independent Hong Kong-based special effects makeup team. Our range of work includes prosthetics makeup, creature effects, special props, gore effects, and training.
The team is renowned for its reliability and attention to detail. We have earned a reputation in Hong Kong and Mainland China’s movie industry and have participated in and led the prosthetics makeup work in famous broadcast movies in Hong Kong and Mainland China for top actors and actresses. We also created pieces for television, commercials, concerts, theatre and corporate events.

Gary Chan valued local talents in the SFX makeup industry. It is believed that foreign makeup artists would potentially take over the production of Hong Kong films due to a shortage of local talents. It is Gary's goal to discover local talents to maintain and develop the local SFX makeup industry and keep it competitive around the globe.
